PHOTOVOLTAIC

The basic components of a PV system are:

• panels;
• inverter.

Influential factors such as the arrangement of the PV modules, their connection, and in particular the choice of the right inverter play an important role. Their choice dictates irrevocably and definitively the features and the performance of the system. The main choice factors are:

• Roof shingles south facing orientation
• Type of roof shingles
• Presence of shaded areas

These factors have to be tailored to the PV plant so that its energy supply can be used almost completely. Adapt the module to the PV plant means maximizing the performance and reduce the payback period of the investment. Imam Ambiente is able to choose the type of module that is best suited to the characteristics of the PV plant to realize.

SMALL WIND

Small wind turbines land assessment consists of three preliminary stages:

First Phase 

• Preliminary survey on the wind power generation site;
• Windspeed rating scale based on Griggs-Putnam Index; (see image below)
• Presence of the power line;
• Land morphology information, analysis of the obstacles and their interactions;
• Good accessibility to the site.

Second Phase

• Study of the site through the use of wind maps;
• Study of the site through the use of specific software;

Third Phase

• Anemometric survey.

BIOMASS

• Site assessment and current Biomass resource availability;
• Techno Economic Viability Study & Feasibility;
• Authorizations process support
